Tripura CM Visits Violence-Hit Village During Tripura Bandh, Announces Relief for Affected Businessmen

Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha today visited Shantirbazar Market in Dhalai district to meet and interact with businessmen affected by the recent violence that erupted during the state-wide bandh called by the Tripura Civil Society on October 23.

During his visit, Dr. Saha appealed to all sections of society to maintain peace and harmony in the region and assured that the government would extend all possible support to the affected people.

He instructed the District Magistrate to take immediate steps for the rehabilitation of those impacted by the incident.

The Chief Minister also announced a set of relief measures, including financial assistance of ?3 lakh each for fully damaged houses and shops, ?1.5 lakh each for severely damaged properties, and ?15,000 each for partly damaged ones.

Additionally, Dr. Saha assured that necessary aid would be provided to individuals who sustained injuries during the incident.
