Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday reviewed the preparations ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to the state on September 22.
During his visit, the Chief Minister inspected the newly developed premises of the revered Mata Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur and the OTPC Helipad Ground in Palatana, where major programmes are set to take place.
Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the redeveloped temple premises, which have been given a new look under the Centre’s PRASAD scheme, aimed at promoting pilgrimage tourism. Dr. Saha took a close look at the infrastructure and beautification works, offering suggestions for further improvements to ensure the best possible arrangements.
He directed officials to complete all preparations in a smooth and aesthetically pleasing manner, emphasizing that every detail must reflect the sanctity of the occasion. Special decorations are being carried out across the temple town of Udaipur to give a grand welcome to the Prime Minister.
The Chief Minister also reviewed the arrangements at Palatana Helipad Ground, where he instructed the administration to ensure flawless management of the event.
Dr. Saha was accompanied by BJP state president and MP Rajib Bhattacharjee, Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, MLAs Abhishek Debroy and Jitendra Majumder, Chief Secretary J. K. Sinha, DGP Anurag, Health Secretary Kiran Gitte, PWD Secretary Brijesh Pandey, CM’s Secretary P. K. Chakraborty, Tourism Secretary Uttam Kumar Chakma, along with the District Magistrate and SP of Gomati district and other senior officials.
