Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha held a crucial interaction with party workers in his Bardowali mandal on Friday, focusing on election readiness and local development priorities ahead of the upcoming Agartala Municipal Corporation elections.
During the meeting, which included mandal and district-level leaders, the Chief Minister stressed the importance of strengthening coordination at the grassroots level and crafting a clear roadmap for both AMC and Nagar Panchayat elections. Given that the area falls under AMC jurisdiction, he highlighted the need for focused planning tailored to urban governance challenges.
Dr. Saha noted that the session was aimed at evaluating current organizational strength while identifying ways to move forward effectively. He emphasized that regular visits and direct engagement with workers help in understanding real-time issues and improving execution strategies.
Apart from election planning, the Chief Minister also reviewed ongoing development work in the area. He sought feedback from local workers on pending projects and discussed measures to speed up their completion. According to him, gathering insights from field-level workers is essential for better policy implementation and addressing ground realities.
The visit underlines the party’s dual approach—preparing politically for the civic elections while ensuring that development initiatives in AMC areas continue to progress efficiently.
