Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Sunday held a meeting with the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of Tripura University, Prof. Dr. Debabrata Das, to discuss a long-term strategy for strengthening the institution's academic and institutional growth.

During the meeting, Prof. Das outlined a five-year development roadmap aimed at enhancing the university's academic standards, research capabilities, infrastructure, and overall national ranking.

Congratulating Prof. Das on his appointment, the Chief Minister expressed confidence in his leadership and encouraged him to take proactive measures to transform Tripura University into one of the country's premier institutions of higher education.

The discussions also covered key priorities for the university's future development. Dr. Saha assured the Vice-Chancellor of the state government's continued support in implementing initiatives that would contribute to the university's overall progress.
