In a recent development, the Government of Tripura has appointed Tapash Majumder of Kathaltali, near the Railway Station, Agartala, as the Chairman of the State OBC Commission. 

The appointment takes effect immediately and will continue until further orders.

The official notification, issued by the General Administration (Personnel & Training) Department, was signed by Jai Datta, Under Secretary to the Government of Tripura. The order has been released in the interest of public service and supersedes all previous notifications or orders on the matter.

Copies of the notification have been forwarded to various government offices, including the Secretariat, the Chief Minister’s Office, and the OBC Welfare Department for necessary action and publication.
