Member of Parliament and former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for approving financial assistance of Rs 3 lakh from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the kidney transplant treatment of Mrs. Mousumi Saha, a resident of Jogendranagar.

Expressing his appreciation, Deb said the financial aid would provide much-needed relief to Mrs. Saha and her family as they navigate the challenges of her critical medical treatment. He praised the Prime Minister for his compassionate approach towards patients requiring advanced healthcare support.

The MP highlighted that the Prime Minister has consistently demonstrated concern for individuals facing serious medical conditions by approving numerous requests for financial assistance through the PMNRF. According to Deb, such timely support has helped many families cope with the financial burden of life-saving treatments.

Reiterating his gratitude, Deb commended Prime Minister Modi’s commitment to extending assistance to those in need and ensuring that deserving patients receive support for advanced medical care through the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund.
