Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a brief yet significant visit to Tripura this afternoon, where he will offer prayers at the sacred Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur, Gomati district, and inaugurate the temple’s newly completed beautification and development projects.

As per the official schedule, the Prime Minister will arrive at Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) Airport in Agartala around 2:40 PM. From there, he will take a helicopter to Palatana Helipad in Udaipur, before proceeding by road to the historic temple complex.

During the visit, PM Modi will offer prayers at both the Tripura Sundari and Shiv Mandir shrines. He will also dedicate the beautification and development works undertaken to enhance the temple premises. The programme will feature devotional kirtan presented by members of the Jamatia Hoda community, adding a spiritual dimension to the occasion.

A key highlight of the visit will be the Prime Minister’s interaction with Pradhan Samajpatis—respected representatives of the tribal society—underscoring his outreach to indigenous communities.

The entire programme is expected to conclude before 4 PM, after which PM Modi will depart.
