New VB-G RAM G Scheme to Boost Rural Jobs and Sustainable Development in India : Minister

ripura Labour Minister Tinku Roy today welcomed the launch of the “Vikshit Bharat Ji Ram Ji” (VB-G RAM G) scheme, calling it a significant and transformative step in India’s journey toward holistic rural development.

Speaking at a meeting organized by the BJP Chandipur Mandal, he also expressed heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this visionary initiative.

He said that the newly introduced scheme marks a landmark change in rural employment, increasing guaranteed workdays from 100 to 125 days per year. Beyond wages, the program emphasizes the creation of durable assets such as ponds, roads, and warehouses, along with water conservation and sustainable livelihoods.

“This law is designed to transform rural life, enhance skills, boost local employment, and ensure social welfare and security,” said Minister Roy.

“This people-centric and forward-looking decision by the Prime Minister will not only stabilize rural India’s economy but also strengthen the foundation of a self-reliant nation.”

The VB-G RAM G scheme is expected to be a game-changer in promoting sustainable development, skill enhancement, and financial empowerment for rural communities across India.
