The Secondary (Madhyamik) examinations conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education began today across the state of Tripura, marking the start of this year’s crucial academic assessment for thousands of students.
On the first day, candidates appearing for both the Madhyamik and Madrasa Fazil examinations sat for their English paper. The examination commenced at 12 noon under strict supervision and security arrangements.
According to official data, a total of 32,404 students are appearing for the Madhyamik examination this year. Of them, 14,629 are boys and 17,375 are girls. In addition, 155 candidates are taking the Madrasa Alim examination, including 129 boys and 26 girls.
The Madhyamik examinations are being conducted across 145 venues under 69 examination centres throughout the state. Authorities have ensured necessary arrangements to facilitate the smooth and fair conduct of the examinations.
With the exams now underway, students, parents, and educators alike are hopeful for a successful and incident-free examination season.
