A disturbing case of alleged rape has come to light in the Chandipara area of West Ludhua village under the Sabroom police station. 

A case was filed at Sabroom Police Station late last night, accusing a 45-year-old father, Alindro Tripura, of raping his own 13-year-old minor daughter.

According to police sources, the incident is alleged to have occurred around 1:30 AM. The complainant, the minor girl, has been brought to the police station, and an investigation into the matter has been initiated. The complaint states that the accused took the victim to a rubber garden late at night, covering her mouth, and committed the rape.

Considering the gravity of the incident, a forensic team from the South District headquarters in Belonia was dispatched to the scene for evidence collection.

Speaking to the media around 10 AM today at the rubber garden in Chandipara, Rajkumar Tripura, a relative of the victim, stated that the accused, Alindro Tripura, has been absconding since the incident.

Police at Sabroom Thana are treating the matter with utmost seriousness and have launched a search operation to apprehend the accused at the earliest. A full-scale investigation into the incident is currently underway.
