On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, BJP Mahila Morcha State President Mimi Majumder led a cleanliness drive at Noagao Kali Temple and Shiv Temple in Krishna Nagar.
This initiative is part of the ongoing Seva Pakhwada, which runs from September 17 to October 2.
Speaking on the occasion, Mimi Majumder said, “We have been conducting Swachh Bharat activities in every Mandal. Today, as part of the Mahila Morcha initiative, we are cleaning the temples. Prime Minister Modi has always given due respect to sanitation workers. On his birthday, we are felicitating these workers in recognition of their valuable contribution.”
Majumder added that PM Modi has been working tirelessly for the country’s development and self-reliance. “During Seva Pakhwada, several women-focused initiatives have been launched, including Swachh Nari and Sashakt Parivar. Across the state, health camps for women have begun and will be held at PHCs and CHCs, with over one lakh camps planned nationwide,” she said.
This initiative highlights the BJP Mahila Morcha’s commitment to public service, women empowerment, and honoring the contributions of frontline sanitation workers.
