Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha today said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is the opposition party in the TTAADC. Therefore, the BJP does not need a partner like the Laal Motha there.

He said that if the TTAADC is to be truly developed, there is no alternative but the BJP.

“The Sankalp Patra published on the occasion of the TTAADC elections has reflected the minds of the people,” said Dr. Saha.

Dr. Saha said this at an election rally organized in support of the Bharatiya Janata Party nominated candidates in Machli, Dhalai district today, ahead of the TTAADC elections.

While addressing the gathering, Dr. Saha raised the question of where this Motha suddenly emerged from.

“You have seen what the condition of the Communists was over the last 35 years. Earlier, wherever we went, it was only red and red. This red means dangerous. We have seen these dangerous hats and shirts. But we saw that when Narendra Modi took charge as the Prime Minister in 2014 and the Bharatiya Janata Party government was formed here in 2018, they flew away like a house of cards. But where did they go? They all went to Motha. That is, the Laal Motha party became the Tipra Motha. But they are all from the Communist Party. For the past 35 years, there has been murder, terrorism, arson, beatings, and rape in the state. All this was their culture. After coming to power with training, they are now causing unrest in the same style. Everyone knows that the Communists ruled West Bengal for almost 34 years. Similarly, Trinamool is ruling there in the same style,” he said.

Dr. Saha said that now Tipra Motha is doing politics of division among people.

“There is nothing in it. There is no philosophy in them. The only goal is the policy of division. Thansa Thansa is saying. Again, seeing the bad situation, Bengalis and minorities have been included there. But where has Thansa gone? Because the head is not right! He says whatever he wants, whenever he wants. He is not sure what to say or when to say it. And now we are talking about building a new Tripura. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked about partners during Operation Sindoor. We also wanted partners. But we do not need such a partner. In TTAADC, we are the opposition party. So, by virtue of being in the opposition party, we will speak our mind. If you want to understand the meaning of democracy properly, you have to explain it to the people through words. You cannot move forward by beating, bullying, and suppressing the voice of the people. You have ruled for 5 years, but we saw that a corrupt government has ruled in ADC,” said Dr. Saha.

In his speech at the rally, the Chief Minister also said that if we want to make ADC truly develop, there is no other option but the Bharatiya Janata Party because the CPM has already been tested.

“Other regional parties have been tested. In that case, only the Bharatiya Janata Party is left. And in a good way, the Bharatiya Janata Party has already been tested. There are already Bharatiya Janata Party governments or NDA governments in different places across the country. Because the Bharatiya Janata Party is working through transparency and for the real development of the country. The policy of the Bharatiya Janata Party is: first the country, then the party, then itself,” he said.

MLA Shambhu Lal Chakma, Dhalai district president Patiram Tripura, Janajati Morcha president Parimal Debbarma, Dhalai district president Sushmita Das, and others were present.
