Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha today reaffirmed the state government’s unwavering commitment to delivering essential public services and addressing citizens’ grievances efficiently.
He highlighted the pivotal role of the CM Helpline Number – 1905, describing it as a crucial bridge between the government and the people, especially during emergencies.
Chairing a review meeting on various departmental helpline portals, including the CM Helpline, at Conference Hall No. 2 of the State Secretariat, the Chief Minister called for stronger inter-departmental coordination and enhanced public awareness to ensure effective and timely service delivery.
“It is essential to encourage citizens to use helpline numbers when needed. We must raise awareness about these services through targeted outreach initiatives, including camps in schools and colleges,” Dr. Saha said. “Only then can we ensure more people benefit from these platforms.”
He further directed officials to adopt a proactive approach in resolving public grievances, emphasizing the need for prompt and efficient redressal mechanisms. The Chief Minister also took detailed updates on the functioning of helpline services across departments and assessed the measures taken for grievance resolution.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha, Good Governance Department Secretary Kiran Gitte, Director General of Police Anurag, and other senior officials.
