Connected through the enduring bond of music and brotherhood,The Adi Artistes Association (AAA) of Arunachal Pradesh, organized a heartfelt condolence programme honouring the cultural icon and legendary singer, Late Zubeen Garg whose voice touched millions across North-East and beyond at Gandhi Chowk,Pasighat.
The event saw floral tributes ,song dedications and heartfelt tributes to the Musical heartbeat of North East, led by AAA General Secretary, John Gao and joined by many including prominent folk Artiste Delong Padung. The Condolence Message to the bereaved family of the Late Musical Legend, Zubeen Garg , on behalf of AAA was also read out by AA GS John Gao on the occasion. The gathering also observed one minute silence as a mark of respect and remembrance to the musical legend of North East.
The Artistes Association stated that the tribute to is a moment of unity to come together to celebrate the life, contributions and legacy of Late Zubeen Garg, who will always remain alive through his immortal music.
A respected cultural figure, Bhaskar Tamuli from Assamese Society Pasighat said that Music is the medium which unites people together in the spirit of brotherhood and the outpouring of love and tributes for Music Maestro Zubeen Garg from the people of Pasighat and the Siang valley and Arunachal Pradesh and North East and the Nation as a whole is the testimony to reverence and love for the legendary Artiste.
