Three-Day Mata Bari Deepavali Mela to Begin on November 8; MLA reviews preparation

BJP Tripura State President and Mata Bari Assembly Constituency MLA Abhishek Debroy attended an important preparatory meeting at the conference hall of the Gomati District Magistrate on Friday to review arrangements for the upcoming three-day traditional Mata Bari Deepavali Mela.

The meeting focused on ensuring the successful and smooth organisation of the festival, which will be held from November 8 to November 10. The traditional festival, celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion, is one of Tripura’s prominent cultural and religious events and attracts a large number of devotees and visitors every year.

During the meeting, various aspects of the preparations were discussed with the objective of making the three-day celebration well-organised, disciplined and enjoyable for everyone.

Expressing his expectations, Debroy said that with the blessings of Goddess Tripura Sundari and the collective cooperation of all concerned, the Deepavali Mela would once again be organised successfully this year in a peaceful, disciplined and festive atmosphere, as in previous years.

He also expressed hope that the collective efforts of all stakeholders would ensure the smooth conduct of the historic festival.
