Animal Resources Development Department (ARDD) and SC Welfare Minister Sudhangshu Das on Friday chaired a district-level review meeting with officials of the Animal Resources Development Department, Fisheries Department and Scheduled Caste Welfare Department at the conference hall of the Khowai District Magistrate’s office.
During the meeting, the minister reviewed the implementation of various schemes undertaken by the three departments for the financial year 2026–27. He assessed whether eligible beneficiaries in Khowai district were receiving government benefits within the stipulated timeframe.
Das also held detailed discussions with the officials concerned on expediting the implementation of ongoing departmental schemes and ensuring that the intended benefits reach beneficiaries without unnecessary delays.
