Legendary singer Zubeen Garg has allegedly passed away at the age of 52 following a scuba diving incident in Singapore.
According to multiple reports, he was pulled from the sea by Singaporean authorities after the mishap and immediately taken to a nearby hospital.
He was admitted into the Intensive Care Unit, but despite the efforts of doctors, he did not survive.
Garg had travelled to Singapore to attend the 4th North East India Festival, where he was expected to perform. Sources say the accident occurred on the day he was set to begin performances.
No official confirmation has yet been released regarding exactly how the scuba diving accident occurred. Singaporean officials are reportedly investigating.
